Steve Jobs, called the most successful person in the world, founded Apple in 1976. It was the only PC company then. He built Macintosh(aka Mac) operating system. Oh, I forgot to mention about co-founders, they were Steve Wozniak(he made a company recently) and Ronald Wayne. They made PC: Apple I, Apple II, etc. But wait, I ain't supposed to talk about PC things, I am going to tell you about their now mainstream thing, iPhone(They needed to get themselves to court for this name!).
So, talk about the iPhone! First, I am showing a chart here.
See, this is the chart of the increasing iPhone's prices, this is limited to XS Max(as I didn't find the latter😁) only. Steve Jobs unveiled the first-ever iPhone in 2007, priced at 600$. And it was a revolution in Mobile market! Then they made the iPhone every year with increasing prices. They also made iPads, iPods, Macs. Now, Apple is a class. They make luxurious products and they worth it! And a statement: The best iPhone we have ever made. This is sportsmanship.
Apple is also worth 2 trillion US Dollars, making it the world's biggest company. Back in 2007, when Nokia was a giant then. But then Apple made a dent in Nokia. Due to Apple's closed working system, it became very popular in a short time. Apple was(even today) a synonym of privacy and security. But after some time, Samsung began to compete Apple. But Nokia was falling down. After some time, many companies came as Apple's competitor but Apple didn't care.....till...Google Pixel came. It was hard-hitting to Apple. Their defensive strategy became aggressive. They started to make changes in their products. Samsung made huge changes, resulting in better than Apple. Apple starting to fail its consumers. They decided to go with the flow as a Mobile notch, Dual camera(triple, as per now), faster chips. They weren't used to this, they were like a stick with the present but they needed to attract people. They made some budget phones like SE to be in the race with mainly Samsung. Then they started to advertise aggressively, directly hitting to Android(Your phone, iPhone ads).
They also started to cut off prices slightly, offered better services, but they also faced some limits. They started to make more variants like 12 series: Mini, 12, Pro, Pro Max. They divided phones for each class from budget-friendly to flagship. They also made some offers as a discount on MacBook if you're a student. But on the other side, they removed chargers because it causes pollution. They were heavily trolled, by all companies, Samsung posted an image on their Facebook page, stating that Your Galaxy includes chargers but wait....it was recently deleted, indicating that they will also remove chargers(as per media reports). As my opinion, Apple is a class topper whose every other is jealous but also want to be like him(but I didn't expect Samsung as I am biased to it).
As per recent rumours, Apple is testing foldable prototypes. and will be out in 2023(probably). Apple also faced legal problems for removing the chargers. But ok, Apple is also doing charity by donating all the profits of Red iPhones to many things like COVID-19 relief funds, HIV funds in Africa.
