Man of Steel- A true DC movie!

Recently watched Man of Steel. It was a mediocre movie back when it was released. I don't know why but it is like nature's law that whenever something worse comes out people treats the previous one like a diamond. Like now WB has almost fired Cavil, everyone is praising Man of Steel. But it was a good movie all the time.

Zack Snyder, this time, took a different approach. He went for a dark, serious superman movie. More like an inspirational movie. The concept of Clark Kent doing struggle to find his true identity meanwhile his planet Krypton's General Zod and his army comes to Earth to find Kal El( Clark Kent). They want to terraform Earth into Krypton and rebuild their civilization. So, he tries to stop them at any cost.

Zack Snyder didn't do much of his iconic slow motion things in this. The movie's only negative point is it has too many fights with CGI but they are still spectacular.

The best thing about the movie is Christopher Nolan is involved. I think this is why the movie is great.

The destruction of Krypton, Clark Kent's childhood, his problems with other children, his ego in teenage to knowing his true self, becoming Man of Steel, the interrogation scene. Everything is well filmed. I would say, Henry Cavil took the movie on his shoulders all the time.

Cinematography is praisable. The blueish effect matches the movie's theme. The dark atmosphere is DC's trademark. Moreover, the best is flight sequence. Apart from previous Superman movies, this superman takes flight with rocket speed. Henry Cavil is truly Christopher Reeve's successor. Fight between Superman and General Zod is my all-time favourite. You can relate to General Zod's loss and ' IF it's not mine then it won't be yours too' type mentality.

Nothing cringy comedy or inappropriate dialogues. Everything to the point. I would this is the best DC movie yet for me.

So, this was it! Thanks for reading!
