Godzilla, a gigantic monster who is a
mixture of Gorilla and Whale, is a fictional character from Japan. Movie
franchise, toys, games, anime are made on it. Legendary Pictures produced a
movie Godzilla which came out in 2014. But before that, whopping 34 movies of
Godzilla was released. It was a new start.
The story followed a man who lost his mother in a radiation
breakout which was caused by doing research on Godzilla. Then he goes to meet
his father where he encounters Godzilla as many creatures are causing
casualties in the world. And then they all are headed to San Francisco where
Godzilla finally finishes them off. It stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth
Olsen. It was quite good only if you like that immersive experience. Though it
was forcibly extended.
So, now let's jump to Godzilla: King of Monsters. Dr Emma Russell
(Vera Farmiga) alongside her daughter Madison Russell (Millie Bobby Brown) is
doing research on Kaijus( Titans). They witness the h of Mothra, a larva (but a
monster). Then there comes, Alan Jonah, leader of an eco-terrorist group kidnaps
them But Mothra flees from there. Alan’s intention was to awaken
Monster Zero by the help of them. Meanwhile, Monarch approaches Dr Mark Russell (Kyle Chandler),
spouse of Emma and father of Madison, he parted from them due to he lost his
son in Godzilla’s attack. But he agrees to search for them. Emma agrees to Alan
and awakens Monster Zero, Ghidorah, a 3 headed dragon and It breaks out from
there. At the same time, team Monarch approaches there and The real king
itself, Godzilla comes to ambush Ghidorah. Rodan, the third monster in Mexico is
also awakened.
Godzilla needs to defeat both of them.
Ghidorah defeats his first time. But by the help of Dr Serizawa (Ken Watanabe),
he plants nuclear bomb near Godzilla to energize him (Exaggerating). Mothra sacrifices
herself for Godzilla by keeping him alive. Godzilla then shows his true power.
In last battle, he turns in his burning form, immediately burning Ghidorah by his Atomic Breath. Emma also saved Godzilla by
planting second nuclear beside it. Now comes the time of Godzilla, every 17
monsters on Earth accepted its conquest. Happy Ending….
But wait, a monster is growing madly on an island who hasn’t accepted Godzilla as a conqueror. He is King…Kong. In 2019, Godzilla Vs Kong was announced. Which created so much hype, even now. Everyone is discussing who will win. By the way, I am preferring Kong. The most cast of Godzilla: King of Monsters is reprising themselves. Alexander Skarsgard is the protagonist of the upcoming. A new still was released or leaked recently from the movie. Where we can see Kong is equal to Godzilla and has even beard! Some people are already criticizing it due to its short running time. But anyway it’s going to be a great experience. By the way, the is completed and is directed by Adam Wingard. The previous one, Kong: The Skull Island was fantabulous. Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel Jackson, John C Reilly were the cast of it. But don’t mix it up with Jack Black’s King Kong as it is not a part of it( probably). But it was getting boring in some parts.
Movies of this genre always attracted me. I am very excited about the next. Because Legendary is building a Monstorverse for specifically these movies. Though King of Monsters didn’t do that well on the box office, the series is still worth watching. Give it a try. Thanks for reading! Done.
