No words to describe this, no exaggeration, probably, no, definitely the greatest show of all time, my most favourite. The acting, action, storyline- everything is above the movie level...
Daredevil is a Netflix Original Series(woohoo!) produced by both Marvel and Netflix as the rights are owned by Marvel Studios. Directed by Drew Goddard. It stars Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Vincent D'Onofrio, Elden Henson in the primary. It has three seasons: released in 2015, 2016, 2018. Then the worst thing happened: Netflix cancelled this series!
Story:
Matt Murdock(Charlie Cox) is blind since an incident. It made him lose one sense but gave so many powers. More than a normal man can have.
He is a lawyer by profession with his friend, Foggy Nelson(Elden Henson), runs a law firm in Hell's Kitchen, New York. By night, he is a devil fighting for justice. They get a case of Karen Page(Deborah Ann Woll), committed a made-up crime although not. She then starts to work with them. So this is the front side of Matt. But... The DareDevil, his second side, is searching for a mafia who wants to rule the city. He eventually finds by investigating, doing some lawyer-stuff, Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin. He tries to expose him by lawyer's side but conflicts with it. Then he gets a chain related to Kingpin by pushing both sides to its limits... Although it sounds confusing, you will definitely love it!
Fighting criminals, struggling in everyday life to balance two personalities, he does his job as a vigilante and eventually reveals the unknown Wilson Fisk. And he has to come out to the public... further continued by you...
Some aside story things:
Note that I am talking about the first season only and every season contains 13 episodes, approximately 1 hour long. So it will take a massive time but worthy.
Charlie Cox, no words for him, you know, he has not only acted but put his soul in it. An award level acting! On the other side, Elden Henson has made a comical(in an acting way) personality who entertains greatly. Deborah Ann Woll and Vincent D'Onofrio have done great work. Action scenes are the heart of the show and they prove it too! Every supporting role has acted well.
Talking about cinematography, the colour-grinding is mostly at the point. In the night time, sometimes it gets too dark. But overall greatly maintained. Developing the story of Daredevil is the key-point of the show and the aim too as they can continue his journey in the later ones.
So concluding, a must-watch series! It hasn't got any family-unfriendly element but the action so you can watch. One more thing, Daredevil of Charlie Cox has also appeared in The Defenders series which is also of Netlfix. I strongly recommend you to watch the first two seasons as the third is out of the limit! Probably, Dark Knight of the TV series, the third season is fantabulous! Charlie Cox has become the fan favourite for that role! Ben Affleck has also done this role in the 2003 movie Daredevil but I haven't watched it yet.
